Good morning! Today you are going to learn how to create a survey using Google Forms.

Click this link to learn some easy information to start.
Read the information. Click this link to read about adding content to your form. Be creative, this can be a great tool to get a lot of information in an organized manner. Click on the headings to the right side of the page on the "add content to your page" link. This will walk you through how to best create a survey for your needs. Your assignment today is to create a survey for your peers. This can be to gather information of your choice (school appropriate), for another class, or for the yearbook for example! Make something up to survey your classmates about. Develop questions utilizing each ​type of question type, there are 9 types, change the theme to match your topic as best you can.

When you are done with your survey, email it to your peers. Then you can work on Google Draw, or your blog, or Code.

Sorry people, I'm out sick again. So, I will share two images for you to reflect about using 3-5 complete sentences about the image (s). I see not all of you did that yesterday, some of you didn't write about the image at all.

Some of you shared your slides with me. You need to go back and work some more on your story. The words need to be your words. When you copy and paste someone else's words you are cheating, plagiarising someone else's words.

Good Morning Bloggers!!!

To continue our art education into this hour, I would like to share with you some Monochromatic Art Works.

For your next art assignment you will have to choose a composition of your choice and use ONLY a monochromatic color scheme. So, what does that mean? You need to do some research. Find something awesome, something you love, or like, something you would like to create, challenge your drawing skills. You can use colored pencils, acrylic paint, or watercolor paint. Choose a dominant color and show at LEAST 5 values using shades and tints. 

For your reflection piece today, comment using 3-5 complete sentences in the comment section about one or more of the pieces of art I shared above.  

After you have finished the reflection part, research and find some awesome art you would like to create using a monochromatic color scheme. Create a Google Doc or Slide to insert your found art work with a little description paragraph, then share it with me at shanel@wolverineschools.org

Well, you made it though another week of school. We are to the weekend, time off of school work, unless you have a ton of homework. Time to relax, unless you have a weekend job. So, I guess it's all about perspective. Friday to some may be a little vacation, Friday to others may be time to get some hard work accomplished.

Good Morning Bloggers!!! I miss your smiling faces this morning. Really!!!

I had trouble choosing a quote or image for your reflection post today. I like this quote:

as I was thinking about how much young people today use their phones to talk to each other instead of communicating face to face. I feel like today's youth find it very convenient to say very horrible things to people through text or social media instead of talking to someone face to face. Not that I am promoting saying horrible things to other people, I just think that youth use technology to conveniently say negative things to others because it is easier to type as if no one is reading, but in reality they are typing for the whole world.

Anyways, I also saw this quote and have always appreciated the meaning of the words. What you say is a reflection of you.





Then I came across this image of art and wanted to share it with you. It is so much to look at and investigate that it could take up a whole post on it's own. It is amazing that someone created these and I am just in awe.
