Freshmen Bloggers Day 11

Good Morning Bloggers!!! I miss your smiling faces this morning. Really!!!

I had trouble choosing a quote or image for your reflection post today. I like this quote:

as I was thinking about how much young people today use their phones to talk to each other instead of communicating face to face. I feel like today's youth find it very convenient to say very horrible things to people through text or social media instead of talking to someone face to face. Not that I am promoting saying horrible things to other people, I just think that youth use technology to conveniently say negative things to others because it is easier to type as if no one is reading, but in reality they are typing for the whole world.

Anyways, I also saw this quote and have always appreciated the meaning of the words. What you say is a reflection of you.

Then I came across this image of art and wanted to share it with you. It is so much to look at and investigate that it could take up a whole post on it's own. It is amazing that someone created these and I am just in awe.
The artist's name is Jim Denevan
Click on it, go there, visit his work. You never know what you are capable of until you TRY. The amazing people you learn about didn't just happen across amazingness, they failed in the beginning, many times, but they have this thing inside, when they fail, they are figuring out ways for success.

  1. For some reason this post is about what is going on in our school its surprising. But that painting is awesome but confusing its just a bunch of circles and can someone give me the definition of art.

  2. it is saying that all the time people are just idiots and like to put people down and people do it to me for no reason and it is stupid but it does not make you look better by you making them look bad.

  3. I really like the first quote because I think that if e solved our problems with the person the problem is with then I think that we wont have as many problems. I think that if we solve the problems then the world could be a better place.

  4. I don't talk much about people unless they make me really mad, but when I do talk about them it's to vent so I'll either talk to may best friend about them or my parents. They help me stay out of trouble or I would have punched the person in the face if I didn't vent.

  5. I really like the first quote because it is about communication among other things. Again the second quote is about being nice to others which is great. I think the last picture is amazing because you can tell he's really creative and amazing at what he does.

    1. I think all three are true. If people could stop talking behind peoples back it would be a better place. We should talk face to face unless you live a distance. You cant develop a friendship on a phone. The second one i dont really understand but i will when i see it into play. The third one is really cool!!!!!! I wonder what it is??????

  6. I don't say anything over social media that I wouldn't say in person. I don't go on the internet to bully people just because I feel like it. But if someone is bashing someone else or bullying, I will call them out on it or just simply block them. If you post something bad about another, it just makes you look dumb. It doesn't make you any better than you were before you posted it, it makes you look worse. If you text something mean to someone or say something mean about somebody via text message, you never know who that other person is going to show. Same with talking on the phone with somebody, you could be on speaker phone.

  7. I feel that these quotes are very truth but the first one could be misleading, it almost said if you have something bad to say;say it to my face not to everyone else. Which we don't want anyone to say anything anything bad about us behind our back or to our face so i really don't like this quote. The second quote however i love, bringing someone down just gonna make you look like a bad person to pick on someone.... for example there was a fight in Gaylord the other day and a girl beat thew living crap out of a girl because she was being a bully.

    1. She bullied everyone at that school and got away with it because nobody wants to be a snitch. Also everyone said that she deserved it and that girl beat the crap out of her because she was tired of her talking crap about her and everyone around her. So she took care of it when she came back to school.

  8. These post make it seem like its actually possible to stop the worlds problem. So we all know its impossible to stop people from talking "smack" about people, and picking on people and pointing out there flaws is an everyday thing. Also i agree that art is simply amazing.

  9. If some one has enough and good reasons to put time and effort in art than you can do almost anything in the world but it all takes effort in order for you to get to your goals because your hopes and dreams can come real. What I believe H.O.P.E means is hold on pain ends.
