Freshmen Computers Day 6

Good morning Bloggers!!! For your warm up today I have giving you a journal prompt to read and respond to in light of how much people, teens, kids, and adults are attached to their phones. Please respond using 3-5 sentences.

.......and keep this in mind......
I just wanted to share this one because of conversations I could hear today. I wanted to celebrate my friends, and others like us.

"People with weird personalities make the best friends. Being able to be openly weird actually relieves stress and anxiety."

  2. People in this generation probably couldn't live without phones. For the past few days, my data has been out so I couldn't check my social media. I feel a lot better without it and getting a chance to do other things. Last summer I seen two couples on their phones and the women were texting across the table so their boyfriends couldn't hear their conversation. At family occasions, everyone is on their cellular device. This last Christmas was the best one because the TV was shut off and nobody could charge their phones so we spent more time with each other. Little kids now days have cell phones a tablets. I remember when I got excited over linking logs...

  3. Its crazy how attached people are to their phones now a days. Back in the day when there were no phones or they weren't popular yet people actual went out to lunch and talked instead of taking pictures of their food. Kids growing up in today's world will never know whats its like to actually go outside and play rather than sit inside on their phones.

  4. People are not looking where they are going in life because no one cares enough to look where they want to go those how chose to take the hard road they learn the ones that chose the wrong road they take the off ramp off the highway to a better life.

  5. I use to be obsessed with social media but I am slowly am realizing that it's just drama. For example on Facebook, I am seriously about to delete my account, I hate how people can say stuff on Facebook but cant say it to peoples face. They make it very obvious who there talking about.... Social media I feel is one of the biggest places for bulling. So with this I'm trying my hardest to just use my phone to look stuff up,time, calendar, etc.

  6. The only time I check my phone or on my phone is when I am at home. I'm only on it then because I have no one to talk to at home because my dad is BORING!!! But if I'm hanging out with people I barely ever check it.

  8. I guess i'm weird and i embrass it I think i'm not sure.I think I have some of the best friends but yet they don't seem weird to me they might don't know yet. I have seen so many people playing on their phones and not paying any attention to society like my dad you literally have to scream his name to get him to look up from his phone and he will only talk to the three of us if he wants his feet rubbed or a snack or a drink.

  9. I don't check my phone very often, unless I'm waiting for someone extremely important to call or message me. I am on my phone a lot because I don't have very many people to talk to and when I do it is on my phone. But when I'm on my phone it is just really for games.

  12. why yes there are so many people that forget to check there phone only because they know they don't have many people to talk to so they cherish the time they have with people face to face besides losing them self's in the phone.

  13. I think this world would be a better place if we did not have social media. I mean there is SO much garbage on the internet that is just getting planted in peoples heads. There should be a ' Go without phone day'!!! My mom told that when my dad got his first cell phone that he would non stop text my uncle and thought this was a gift from Heaven. My mom has a Facebook account and my dad does not so my dad is always on my moms phone to "check out the stupidness " when really he enjoys it! I think if we all tried to go without social media it would make this a better place. I totally agree that you have better friends if you were not on social media. I have one friend i talk to through pinterest becuase i dont see her ofton.

  16. NOW THIS!! Is a post I'm not going to make such a long comment on. I believe that this post is agreeable in most areas like how having actual friends to talk to is good for you. Instead of acting like a troll that sits in the dark clicking away on his keyboard. Instead of going out of the room to see what the sun looks like.
